Welcome back Grade 6! I am sure you all enjoyed your two week Hajj break whether you stayed in Riyadh or were lucky to leave the Kingdom with your family for a while. As for Mr Richard, he had a 'stay cation' and was busy building and writing content for this website, 'Learning English'.
Half of the first term has already finished. Time flies, doesn't it? Before you know it, it will be the end of term and that dreaded time again - yes exam time! We have a month or so before that starts and in that time still lots to learn.
This website was designed for you in mind - to help you to enjoy learning and improving your English skills. English is an important international language and one day I hope you will benefit from all your hard work in the classroom. Learning a language is never easy and requires lots of effort, practice and patience.
I did speak to you in class today and mentioned that I would write a blog post. Well here it is!
Just a reminder of what I said:
There will be a test this Wednesday, and you will need to review:
- Vocabulary sheets for weeks 5 and 6
- Unit 2 - p12 - Gender words - Nelson Skills Book 5
- Unit 5 - p12-13 - Nouns - Nelson Pupil Book 4.
If you have any questions then you can ask me before the test.
Please do remember to send me your father's e-mail address (and also let him know that you are doing so). You can use the contact form.
Remember to also bring your Nelson Skills Book 5 tomorrow as we will quickly review the answers from today's exercises.
That's all for now so until the next blog post - enjoy learning English!
P.S. Well done Yazan! (Grade 6C). All your answers to the last quiz were correct.
