The following is an image of a photocopied page that was given to you as a handout three weeks after the recent Hajj break. There will be a question in the exam about irregular verbs and their past simple form. A link to quizlet to help you revise these irregular verb past simple forms will be posted shortly.
The following is a simple example of the project assignment given to you yesterday.
Reminder of the instructions: 1) Work in groups of five to six students 2) Choose a sports star 3) Think of five questions you would like to ask this sports star 4) Write five answers to the five questions - answers maybe researched using the internet or from your imagination. 5) Create a poster with photographs and your questions and answers. 6) Assignment deadline date: Thursday 13th November This mind map summarises the final grammar lesson for this term, and will be taught this Thursday (Week 11).

Mr Richard The ninth week of this first term has now ended. Exams begin in week 12 which is only a couple of weeks away, and you should all have begun your revision by now.
Next week, the 10th week, will be the last week of lessons that you will have for this term from me. You will have a grammar test on Wednesday. The following week, the 11th week, will be a revision week. Your final test - a vocabulary test (weeks 9 and 10 words) will be given to you on the Wednesday. The mind map below summarises this term's work and what you will need to revise for your English exam. As I explained to you today, there will be one questions on parts of speech. Revise it well! Look through all your grammar handouts and completed classwork grammar exercises; weekly vocabulary handouts; and your completed homework compositions. Also look through your tests, revise your vocabulary using quizlet. |
