Introduction
I welcome you to this website and I just wish to give you a brief orientation.
In this section you will find, a letter which introduces me as the English teacher for your child. I will also post links which I hope you will find useful.
In the second tab, 'Rules': the eight classroom rules are what I expect from the students I teach.
On the 'Wall', I will post children's completed assignments as often as I can.
In 'Resources', you will find:
Materials used in your child's class
Additional useful materials
Word sheets
Word searches
In 'Useful links', I will post links to websites which will help in your child's learning of English. There are also other helpful links, such as learning and developing mind mapping skills, and links to interesting educational videos.
A list with recommended books. These books, I have read and would highly recommend for borrowing from a public library or purchasing for personal use. These books are excellent for helping your child to develop.
Poems and quotes - These I will choose and post on a regular basis. My aim is to encourage an enjoyment of reading and words through poetry and quotes.
The blog will be used to post an outline of the weekly learning, reminder of textbooks and copybooks to bring, return of general written feedback on assignments, and to remind students of tests!
Finally whenever necessary, you may send me an e-mail using the contact form and I will do my best to reply within 24 hours.
If there is anything I have left out or anything which is unclear then kindly let me know.
Mr Richard
